Voters in multiple states could choose to legalize on Election Day.
According to NORML, activists in deep red Arkansas, Nebraska (MED), Oklahoma and North Dakota have recently submitted signatures to state authorities.
Elsewhere:
- REC initiatives are already confirmed in Maryland and South Dakota.
- In Ohio, key legislators said they wouldn’t legalize setting up the possibility of a REC initiative.
Cincinnati City Beat - Missouri could happen too.
Nationwide, more than two-thirds of Americans support legalization. Republicans are about evenly split while Democrats and independents overwhelmingly favor it.
