A Delaware Chancery Court judge expressed her intention to clear California brand Bloom Farms in an investor lawsuit. As WeedWeek previously reported, last year Jeff Menashe, CEO of financial firm Demeter Group had sued Bloom alleging “a pattern of deception” and financial mismanagement.
- The judge called the plaintiff’s conduct “contumacious” and determined “the only adequate remedy is dismissal.”
- A lawyer for Menashe did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
