- Nevada-based infused dessert maker Hervé named Cheyne Nadeau VP marketing. She was formerly head of marketing at Canndescent. The company also named Emily Ryan head of trade marketing. She was formerly marketing manager at PLUS Products.
- California distributor HERBL announced the retirement of COO Art Smuck and that he would be replaced by longtime Whole Foods exec Robert (Bobby) Turner.
- Curaleaf named Ranjan Kalia CFO. He’s replacing Michael Carlotti, who’s stepping down for medical reasons.
- Columbia Care named Philip Goldberg, former CEO of Green Leaf Medical, to its board of directors.
- Michael Song joined investment firm Navy Capital after a stint at hedge fund Freshford Capital.

In recent weeks, the cannabis world has been catching up as everyone makes plans for world domination.
Mayor Tim Sandoval and local dignitaries came out for the grand opening of STIIIZY‘s new store in Pomona, Calif. Below, rappers Xzibit (pictured twice) and Too Short wait for fans at a meet and greet.
Denver party and event space The Marijuana Mansion celebrated its grand opening, appropriately enough, with a party.
Kip Wilson from the Stoned Appetit podcast must’ve said something funny to Ricardo Baca, founder and CEO, of the Grasslands agency. The picture comes from the Actall x Grasslands Pride Party in Denver.
