EAZE SUED FOR IP INFRINGEMENT
The parent company of Source Cannabis sued Eaze for copyright infringement, alleging the delivery app’s in-house brand Circles uses a “near-identical” logo to its own. Eaze declined to comment.

A former business partner sued the son of renowned cannabis activist Jack Herer after the souring of a venture to monetize Herer’s legacy.
Calif. Biz eyes farmers markets, hemp reform
When the legislative session opened in January, the California cannabiz confronted several bills that could have worsened its already very tough situation. Lawmakers are now back from Summer recess and have a one-month sprint until the September 14 deadline to pass bills.
