
Colorado Sales Director

Wana Brands is the most trusted edibles company in North America. This position helps to promote Wana Brands by managing Wana sales operations in Colorado. The role will manage the sales teams in Colorado as well as developing and executing sales support and marketing strategies, meeting quarterly goals, and providing guidance and training to teams. This position reports to the Regional Sales Director - West.
Responsibilities:Â
Direct and coordinate sales activities in Colorado marketÂ
Manage sales team and support staff in Colorado including sales reps, merchandising manager and admin. Â
Set sales goals and conduct quarterly reviews Â
Manage day to day decisions of the sales team Â
Manage quarterly promotional strategies and budgetÂ
Work with Data Analysts to better understand pricing and promotion environment in state Â
Utilize business analytics software to communicate or present information for business strategy decision making, and monitoring sales goalsÂ
Manage Salesforce software with regards to CO teamÂ
Assist sales team in cultivating high level relationships (owners and other key people) in dispensariesÂ
Manage sales side of new product launches and provide input into innovation pipeline Â
Provide sales training to the team on an individual and group levelÂ
Facilitate weekly sales team meetings Â
Liaison for sales team with other areas in the company around operational issuesÂ
Manage CO communications with marketing (swag, eblasts, displays etc )Â Â
Manage Learn Brands Colorado to insure proper trainings Â
Monitor competitive pricing landscape in market Â
Be in the field with sales team 2x per week Â
Ensure merchandising, budtender education and pop up strategies are optimal for success Â
Job Requirements:Â
Passion for Wana Brands and knowledge of the industryÂ
Strong ability to model and train teams on consultative selling methods.Â
Ability to motivate and inspire sales teamÂ
Experience and knowledge of selling premium quality grade products and managing broad portfolio of products Â
Persuasive sales ability, including ability to effectively position Wana products against competitorsÂ
Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners, maintaining them over time.Â
Prior account relationships in cannabis and/or CPG wellnessÂ
Ability to build high level relationships with owners and buyers of major accountsÂ
Previous sales management experience in CPG and/or cannabis  Â
Clearly communicate information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.Â
Persistence, positive attitude and desire to hustle and build market shareÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Strong desire to provide exceptional customer serviceÂ
Ability to build relationships and rapport Â
Flexible schedule and ability to work some weekends and eveningsÂ
Proof of Covid-vaccination is mandatory Â
Preferred Education and ExperienceÂ
Prior cannabis account relationships Â
Prior sales management experience Â
Prior sales CPG management experience with strong analytical background Â
Supervisory ResponsibilityÂ
This position has overall supervisory responsibility for the Sales Team and Brand Ambassadors.Â

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Â

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkÂ
This position regularly works normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30a-5:00p. Some weekend and night work will be expected.Â
Travel includes both local and out-of-the-area travel with some overnight travel expected. Travel is up to 50% of work time.Â

Benefits and Compensation:
- Salary range is $100,000-$120,000, dependent on experience, plus an incentive bonus commission
