SCOOP: Billionaire investor foreclosing on Eaze

Tech billionaire Jim Clark is foreclosing on Eaze, California's leading delivery service, in which he is the largest investor.

In a statement, Eaze CEO Cory Azzalino said the company would continue operating during the foreclosure process.

 

In a May 10 letter filed in Delaware and distributed to Eaze shareholders, FoundersJT, an investment vehicle controlled by Clark said that it was claiming the collateral associated with a secured August 2022 loan to the company. Two Eaze investors told WeedWeek that the collateral is the entire company.
