SCOOP: Jack Herer’s son sued in IP dispute
A former business partner sued the son of renowned cannabis activist Jack Herer after the souring of a venture to monetize Herer's legacy. Daniel Herer, the suit alleges, “repeatedly reneged on agreements" and disparaged his partners while seeking to replace them.
- Herer, who lives in Los Angeles Co. and runs The Jack Herer Foundation honoring his late father, denies the allegations and claims the plaintiff is infringing on Herer-related IP it doesn't own.
