GoDaddy denies tech support to pot pub: Report

At times, cannabis-oriented users of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Google and other big tech brands have voiced complaints over the platforms’ anti-pot policies. But as far as I’m aware, this is a new one.
Pot site HeadyNJ said ubiquitous hosting service GoDaddy refused to give it technical assistance because it’s about weed.
- Heady posted a chat screenshot where the GoDaddy rep said it could host the site, but can’t provide the customer with tech support “due to the nature of the content.”
- GoDaddy didn’t respond to a request for comment on whether the chat accurately reflected its policy.
