Statistics Canada released an analysis of cannabis trends and related metrics.
- In the first quarter of 2019, 5.3M Canadians (18%) older than 15 said they had used cannabis in the last three months, and 6% (2.2M) said they used cannabis daily or almost daily.
Twitter—Andrea Woo - This number doesn’t jibe with a recent survey by Dalhousie University which found twice as great a prevalence (37%) of self-reported cannabis users across Canada. Another phone survey of Ontarians and Albertans by Cowen and Co. found 40% said they’d used cannabis within the last month.
