Episode 89

The Elusive Tribe of Roger Obando

Dec 30, 2019 | Length: 0h 35m

Five years ago, Roger Obando broke into the legal weed business by co-founding Baker, customer relationship software for dispensaries. Baker eventually merged into cannabis conglomerate Tilt Holdings and now Obando has written a book, The Highest Common Denomenator. In it he discusses “intersecting at the best version of ourselves, in service of equality, of opportunity, and of optionality” in the cannabis industry. In Episode 89, Obando discusses how his Costa Rican roots shaped his views on industry inclusiveness. Also: Alex and Donny have dueling thoughts on this week’s arrival of REC in Illinois.
