The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) froze approvals on new stores for the duration of the provincial Emergency Order opening temporary delivery and curbside pickup.

- Since the beginning of the year, the AGCO has approved or issued 401 Retail Operator Licenses (ROLs, given to individuals) and 39 Retail Store Authorizations (RSAs, given to stores allowed to open).
- As of this week, the AGCO has received 900 ROL applications this year.
