New York’s Columbia Care operator shelled out $12M in cash and $57M in stock to purchase Los Angeles-based Project Cannabis.

- Triple Seven and Classic are Project Cannabis brands. The company also operates a 32,000-foot cultivation facility and three REC dispensaries in LA along with a San Francisco REC dispensary that houses one of The City’s few permitted consumption lounges.
- The deal allows Columbia Care, owner of a new manufacturing and packaging site in San Diego, to significantly increase its scale throughout California.
