The Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s National Cannabis Working Group warned Ottawa’s rent-relief program will exclude the nearly 200 REC retailers preparing to open in Ontario.

MJ Biz Daily - Ontario spent the first part of this year rushing to license as many REC stores as possible in order to address that province’s tiny number of REC retailers. As a result, COVID-19 struck as many new stores (187 as of last week) were in various stages of preparation for spring openings.
