The employment connections site Indeed discovered a pot jobs spike of more than 1200% between September 1, 2015 and the first of last month.

- Leading the surge in California is the Los Angeles area with a 1,767% increase, San Francisco, where cannabis jobs rose 1,702% and San Jose, where employment jumped 1,498%. Sacramento postings were up 1,296%.
- MedMen posted the most jobs, followed by Mammoth Distribution, Caliva, Weedmaps which just laid off a quarter of its staff, Ohana Gardens and Urbn Leaf.
