As a means of providing financial relief to cannabis firms, the state’s three regulatory agencies began offering a 60-day extension to companies owing license fees.

- License fee deferrals through the Bureau of Cannabis Control, California Department of Food & Agriculture and California Department of Public Health may be requested by those with a state cannabis license expiring between now and June 30.
- Also, cannabis companies may qualify for tax assistance through the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration and the Franchise Tax Board.
- Licensees who find themselves non-compliant due to the pandemic can submit a disaster relief request.
