The Financial Analyst will create and support and improve processes for the finance and accounting teams of KSS. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate has experience in Encompass ERP, wholesale distribution, general accounting practices, and SQL. This role is remote but will, from time to time, require travel to Northern and Southern California. As a KSS Financial Analyst, you’ll…

    • Help maintain synchronization between the general ledger and subledger
    • Work alongside Finance teams and Commercial Operations to assist with tasks regarding the financial performance of KSS
    • Support brand partners with their Encompass integrations, purchases and invoices, billbacks, and margin reporting
    • Build internal and external dashboards and workflows to improve processes and help others understand how to interpret and act on key data from Encompass
    • Support warehouse and logistics teams where necessary to enable finance teams to move forward with processes
    • Help with system financial close and associated system integrations
    • Assist with processes aimed at maximizing profitability
    • Assist with the onboarding of new brand partners into Encompass and KSS
    • Liaise between Finance, Commercial Operations, and all other departments
    • All other tasks critical to the continued success of the team as directed by your supervisor

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Lead 4 to 6 accounts (a mix of B2B and B2C). The role requires a high level of accountability, being comfortable managing up and down, the ability to successfully juggle strategy development, drive results, and maintain client and media relationships
    • Includes: Act as main point of contact for client; proactively pitching and obtaining top-tier exposure with targeted media; developing and executing comms strategy; independently leading client status calls; working with account support to ensure media lists are developed and updated to include appropriate target contact
    • Prioritize team workload to ensure efficient workflow and execution, including overseeing administrative duties of account support such as organizing meetings / calls, status call and end of week recaps, media alerts, monthly reports
  • Own and create strategic PR plans (including the development of elevated and non-traditional tactics such as stunts, activations, trends reports, etc… displaying thoughtful media relations and strategic tactics (both traditional and out-of-the box) that generate news; work closely with account support to successfully execute on strategies
  • Mentor and aide in the training and development of support colleagues across accounts–ability to flex management muscles skills and provide constructive feedback in real time 
  • Own development of client press materials including news releases and pitches; Draft or edit writing projects, providing constructive feedback to support team and delivering client-ready work to PR team leadership for feedback and approval
  • Share pitching efforts with assigned account support, actively connecting with regional, local and national media contacts to place campaign-driven coverage for clients
  • Maintain and develop meaningful relationships with key members of the media on various beats 
  • Independently lead client status calls, including brainstorms, while active listening and contributing to the conversation
  • Research and identify appropriate awards and speaking opportunities
  • Provide counsel to clients in times of crisis and recommended course of action to PR leadership for approval

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PAX is seeking a dynamic individual as an addition to our sales team. Drives sales execution standards to include

  • Be responsible for sell- in of new products and launching new doors while retaining existing accounts (dispensary/distributor) by managing relationships, increasing product assortment, and facilitating merchandising and product training

COMPENSATION

In addition to the benefits above, the base pay for this role starts at $60k with a variable compensation of $50k, and equity. Our Field Sales team also receives a car and communications stipend and gas reimbursement.

This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.

The Role:

POSITION OVERVIEW

PAX Labs is seeking a dynamic individual as an addition to our sales team. Applicants must be driven to succeed, able to overcome objections using informed selling, and skilled at using creative solutions to address challenges. This is a field sales role with about 80% of time spent in dispensaries. You will be working remotely while reporting and working with the team at HQ in San Francisco. Your territory will cover the greater SoCal area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drives sales execution standards to include:

  • Be responsible for sell- in of new products and launching new doors while retaining existing accounts (dispensary/distributor) by managing relationships, increasing product assortment and facilitating merchandising and product trainings 
  • Meet and strive to exceed company and individual sales specific goals
  • Develop and drive programs that move product as well as drive new and existing points of sales distribution 
  • Deepen existing business relationships by Increasing account satisfaction

  • Weekly activity and program recap report briefs. 

Support distributor and retail management through:

  • Identification of market opportunities (net new doors) and trends in your territory

  • Visibility – Support POS Placement/ Shelf Management programs (merchandising solutions are created by the PLI marketing team in San Francisco HQ)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in CPG

COMPENSATION

In addition to the benefits above, this role has a base pay of $70k+, a variable compensation of $50k, + equity. Our Field Sales team also receives a car and communications stipend and gas reimbursement.

This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.

The Role

LeafLink is seeking a highly experienced product manager to join our team to drive LeafLink’s innovation in banking services, identifying customer needs and innovating new digital banking products that deliver differentiated value. As a Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate with business, compliance, legal, and product & engineering teams to define, build, and launch the cannabis industry’s best-in-class digital banking service in a compliant and customer-centric way. You will engage with executive sponsors, internal teams, and external Financial Services and FinTech partners to deliver experiences that help operators thrive through holistic business banking, digital payments, and liquidity offerings. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the long-term product vision for LeafLink’s digital banking, and iterative roadmap based on external landscape, customer insights, capabilities, resources and key compliance considerations.
  • Conduct extensive market research / competitor analysis to identify key trends and best practices across Financial Services and FinTech digital banking to inform strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead definition and execution of value proposition and end-to-end product experience, including onboarding, transactional activities, compliance workflows, customer support / operations and bringing the solution to market. 
  • Apply Agile software development methodologies to lead Discovery and translate product roadmap with Design, Engineering, and QA into well-defined requirements, including wire-frames, process flows, specs, and other product documentation. Foster an environment of continuous improvement with retrospectives and direct communication. 
  • Make decisions grounded in data. Partner with Analytics to develop and maintain tracking and reporting of KPIs post-launch to prioritize backlog and inform roadmap. 
  • Own product positioning, and partner with Marketing and Sales on go-to-market strategy, marketing collateral, and enablement to support the sales cycle 
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop business cases, new products, new business models and pricing schemes to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Bring a “customer centric” focus in our strategy, roadmap and continuous product improvement process.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 5+ years in product management/product development for FinTech and/or the banking industry, leading embedded banking experiences.
  • Established background in launching software or services in partnership with Engineering teams, with high degree of proficiency in prototyping and iterative development.

Position Objective:

 

The Senior Director of Retail Marketing and Merchandising is responsible for creating a retail marketing and merchandising strategy that will envision, implement and drive marketplace and merchandising strategies that maximize growth and profitability in accordance with Schwazze’s organizational objectives. The Senior Director of Marketing and Merchandising is responsible for streamlining all retail marketing and merchandising processes, including assortment planning, vendor selection, and product acquisition, and realize cost savings that will result in increased sales opportunities.

 

Essential Functions

Responsibility for the achievement of merchandising department business targets and goals and the identification of plans to address variances from those targets and goals.
Monitors, approves and executes all retail marketing strategies to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of these teams, which leads to the achievement of the retail department’s goals and objectives.
Creates, maintains and implements retail marketing plan to assist with new customer acquisition and supporting existing customer satisfaction.  This may include retail level marketing materials in support of customer acquisition strategies to enable a robust marketing support function for the retail store directors and team.
Participate in the development and activation of Schwazze’s Strategic Plan for marketing and merchandising processes, including assortment planning, vendor selection, and product acquisition.
Initiates and implements measurable strategies that aid in driving the business’s revenue goals and increasing awareness at all levels of the business’s reach.
Supports Executive and Senior Leadership in guiding the development, deployment, and effectiveness monitoring of all merchandising activities.
Establish operating budgets and monitor actuals versus budget for the department and related programs.
Analyzes all category performance using industry trends to understand future market potential.
Analyzes current marketing strategies and implements changes.
Provide strategic guidance for, review, and approve all merchandising marketing, promotional, pricing, and category business plans.
Provide strategic guidance for, review, and approve new and refined merchandising & procurement processes and procedures along with expected costs and business benefits.
Provide recommendations related to new and improved processes, their business benefits, and their operational implications.
Identify, monitor, and address specific issues to achieve Schwazze’s Retail sales goals. Proactively creates and drives the marketing strategy in alignment with retail leadership team to achieve the sales goals for the division.
Selects and manages all vendor partners establishing timelines of activities and tracking results.
Oversees all marketing activities, including but not limited to website, digital, in-store, print, creative, branding, and market segmentation.
Works closely with Operations, HR, Finance, and IT to ensure the organization has the necessary tools needed to implement and execute strategies.
Drives process around the development and adoption of innovative product assortments, partnering with the best-in-class suppliers/vendors and supporting the marketing efforts to enable our retail team’s success at the store level.
Owns merchandising strategies, including brick-and-mortar and e-commerce. Integrates e-commerce into all aspects of the business model.
Subject matter expertise related to process content and provides the training necessary to ensure those processes are fully understood at the retail and support levels.
Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices to ensure the organization promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
Ensure the effective and actionable communication of Schwazze’s strategic direction.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in retail marketing, sourcing, category management, procurement or related function. 
5+ years of P&L development and/or cost management experience
Must have experience in one or more of the following categories: FMCG, CPG, food & beverage, personal care, and/or cannabis industries
Working knowledge of state regulatory product experience is required
Ability to obtain and maintain an MED Badge in the state of Colorado
