Billionaire former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (D) might want to be president after all. While he previously called legalizing marijuana “perhaps the stupidest thing anybody has ever done,” he’s now moderating his tone. He now says he supports decriminalization and believes the feds shouldn’t interfere “with states that have already legalized.”

In other state political news:
- Make It Legal Florida, a REC ballot initiative backed by big industry players MedMen and Parallel (formerly Surterra), says it has more than 75% of the 766,200 signatures it needs to make the November ballot. Another effort, Regulate Florida, appears unlikely to come close.
Orlando Sentinel - Virginia AG Mark Herring (D) will host a cannabis summit this week to push for decriminalization.
