Apples can get it. Hemp growers have American access to an organic designation, too. Now Envirocann CEO and testing pioneer Ian Rice has a notion of how to get a comparable designation in place for the THC fave.

  • Rice, whose Envirocann is a third-party company that observes USDA organic practices, says producers, growers, manufacturers and dispensaries  practices should be able to utilize their fidelity in marketing.
  • Certain of Envirocann’s clients adhere closely enough to the USDA’s standards for to earn Rice’s “Enviroganic” label. Others merely earn an “Envirocann” certification. “While these producers might not be considered organic farmers, they use conventional methods of production that are responsible and deserve recognition,” the CEO said.
